On Saturday I met the Grieves family with their 3 cuties - Harvey, Amelia & Zoe.

Demelza & Chris - Just Married!!

On Sunday January 16th, Demelza and Chris  were please to spend a lovely sunny day with friends as they tied the knot at Rosemount Estate at Ohoka. They were lucky to have the fun of orgnising their wedding twice as their first date and location were thrown into chaos by the Earthqauke in September. They were so well organised and calm and the day went off without a hitch!

Competition... enter at your own risk!!

As a wedding photographer I am endlessly enthralled by certain locations and am always finding new locations and situations that I want to shoot a wedding couple in. The problem is that they can often be so out of the ordinary that no client will ever think of choosing such a location or place to shoot their bridal images. So I am going to give myself away - yes, thats right! Give away a bridal location shoot of my dreams - haha!!

Why am I doing this?

1. Because I have certain creative ideas that I want to try out but I would never attempt to try them out on a paying client.

2. The locations I select may not be the regular locations a bride and groom would choose for their wedding day images.

3. Because I love the new and the different - it helps keep me fresh.

4. I just feel like it!

What do you win??

1. 2 - 3 hours shooting amazing, original wedding images with me.

2. A high res disc of all the final images with a print release for you to be able to use them for you personal use and enjoyment.

3. This prize is valued at over $1000 so you get to be the envy of all your friends!

Who am I looking for??

I don't care if you're just married, engaged, been married 10 years or just a couple as long as you're into each other and happy to show it! It's probably not a photo shoot suited to those who are camera shy or uncomfortable showing their partner affection in front of the camera. You need to be adventurous and happy to take on the locations I select for the session. If you and your partner are brave, fun-loving and up for a challenge then I want you!

What do you need to do to enter?

1. You need to have a wedding dress that fits or you can have altered to fit.

2. I need you to email me a picture of you and your partner together PLUS 2 full length pictures of the intended dress ( front and back). Please email these pics to me at natashacphotography@rocketmail.com .You can include some info on you and your partner if you think it will help your chances of being selected the winner.

3. I need you to be able to travel via your own transport within the Christchurch area and be able to spend approx 2 - 3 hours with me.

4. You need to be available to shoot in the first 2 weeks of April 2011 - the exact date can be decided once the winner is announced.

If you think its a great idea but your wedding dress days are over please let your friends know. There is no voting on this competition and the winning couple will be chosen by me based upon the suitability for the look I'm going for with the images. I reserve the right to choose the couple I think is the best fit for what I am trying to achieve.

Love & Sunshine ~ Leon & Chivala.

Last Saturday was hot! Ask the Bride as she blotted perspiration from her neck - and the dress had only been on for 5 minutes! But in spite of the scorching hot Christchurch day Leon and Chivala' s wedding went off without a hitch and there is a certain charm to a sapphire blue sky that I just can't resist.  Leon and Chivala were married in style at Old Stone House surrounded by their family and friends and what a great day it was.
